1st June 2008 - Muggia - Engineers scores 89 points for a clear shutout. Nice day of sport where both teams gave 110% of their efforts. After game party was the perfect end of the football day.
26th May 2008 - Muggia - The Mustangs, Global Foootball, Fidaf and Lenaf decided that the AMERICAN BOWL 2008 will be played in memory of Brandon Couch. All trophies of the game will be entitled "AMERICAN BOWL 2008 - BRANDON COUCH TROPHY".
22nd May 2008 - Muggia - The President of the AIGFA (Italy Player Association) will attend the game in Muggia.
4th May 2008 - Forlì - Today a second full session practice was held by the league all star team. Another good practice to step forward to American Bowl 2008. The coaching staff know that against Rose Hulman il will be a challenge just to score a field goal. Anyhow all the players are looking forward to this sport event. The chance to play versus such a good team will be good for their football experience.

13th April 2008 - Rome - Today 45 players meet for the first time together with the coaching staff. This League all star team will play in American Bowl 2008. A full day practice gave the coaches the chance to see all the players skills.
9th April 2008 - November graduate, football team member dies in traffic accident Brandon Couch, a recent mechanical engineering graduate, was killed in a traffic accident about 6:20 a.m. Tuesday on Indiana 63 near Interstate 74.  He was on his way to work in Attica, Indiana. Couch died when the pickup truck he was driving was involved in an accident with a semitrailer driven by Joseph A. Hopkins, 45, of Nicholasville, Ky.  Hopkins was not injured, according to police reports. Couch was a three-year varsity letter winner for the football team prior to completing his eligibility last season.  He was the first three-time winner of the "Spirit of Chauncey Rose Award" for mental attitude and leadership that is voted on each year by the football team.  He graduated in November of 2007. Couch’s death came just days after another accident claimed the life of Rose-Hulman student Nicholas B. Lee, a junior biomedical engineering major from Bryan, Texas.  Adam C. Effinger, a senior computer engineering major from Plainfield, Ind., was injured critically in the same accident, which occurred Saturday, April 5, on Woodsmall Road in southern Vigo County. Because of the deaths and injuries, the counseling office at Rose-Hulman has extended its hours. “I am deeply grateful to the many members of the Rose-Hulman family who have already stepped in to provide the support and friendship we all need to feel and to show in moments like this,” said Rose-Hulman President Gerald Jakubowski. “So soon on the heels of other tragedies, I ask you to join me in providing the support we all need in these difficult times,” Jakubowski said in a statement to the campus Wednesday.


31st January 2008 - TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology football team will make its second trip abroad with a trip to Italy from May 26-June 4, 2008. The Engineers will spend nine days touring various cities in Italy, with one game tentatively scheduled for May 30.  Rose-Hulman will play in either Venice or Florence against a team to be determined. Rose-Hulman football alumni, players, parents and friends of the program are encouraged to join the trip to Italy. The team will also conduct several fund raising activities over the next 18 months in order to help defray the costs of the trip for players.  The trip will include time in Milan, Venice, Florence and Rome, along with several outlying areas. Rose-Hulman's football team previously completed a trip to London and Paris in 2002 that included a victory over the French National Team.  Other recent foreign trips have included baseball in Japan; basketball in England, Greece, Italy and Japan; and volleyball in Italy.
